Linden Hall School News

I am extremely pleased to announce that we have hired Dr. Stephanie Katz to join our Science Department beginning this coming school year (August 2009). Dr. Katz is an experienced independent school teacher who received her B.S. from Franklin & Marshall College and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado. Dr. Katz will join a Linden Hall faculty which has become significantly stronger in the last two years. Currently, approximately 70% of the Linden Hall staff has a graduate degree, while all members of the Science faculty have their doctorates. With regard to that last fact, Linden Hall may be the only independent school in the United States who can make that claim. This ongoing effort to attract and retain the finest teachers to Linden Hall is one facet of our commitment to offer the finest college-preparatory educational program. Join me in welcoming Dr. Katz.
